In such woeful economic times we could all be in the hunt for a job soon, hopefully not, but if you are here are a couple of things to remember. There are some good tips here that I would not have thought of such as lace up shoes and some rules I tend to break. For my last interview I had some zip-up black ankle boots and a striped shirt on, but I still landed the gig. My one rule is that you should dress for the job you are interviewing for and make sure you feel good in what you are wearing, confidence tends to rub off. I say go white shirt for the sales jobs, lawyers, etc... and a little more colorful for those creative jobs such as designer, fashion or graphic.
