The Second Nature Exhibition is highlighted by this Venus- Natural Crystal Chair. The way it works is that the crystals form structures on a block of polyester fiber. A special mineral solution (headiness) is added to the base polyester and the whole chair is put in an aquarium so the crystals can form. It takes about one month for the chair to be completely covered in crystals. Designer Tokujin Yoshioka was trying to create something so completely natural in constantly evolving tech savvy world. He said that he had guided the first half of production and left the other half up to nature.
